Did you know, next Friday I’m running winter morning beach minis at Warana Beach. I have one spot available at 10:30am. For these sessions, it’s about connection and fun with your loves. Suitable for family, motherhood, breastfeeding.. think sitting on the dunes, running down them, building sandcastles, running away from the waves, feeding, cuddling, flying a kite, eating watermelon. Basically, 30 mins to just be and enjoy your kids! No perfect portraits, no cheese at the camera. DM me to secure the last spot!

Can you believe these beauties are my very own mum’s group. We met in 2022 with mostly their first borns and my second and they’re honestly the best bunch of humans. So grateful for them; our group chat, catch ups, mum nights and always a listening ear.

Your children will never be as young as they are t

Your children will never be as young as they are today. They may not have the mispronounced words, or their baby teeth coming through. They might not reach for your hand with theirs so much and they may not rely on you for everything they need as much as they once did. But they still need you, adore you and crave your connection. Capturing memories like these to adorn your walls create a beautiful sense of importance in a young person’s mind and heart. It creates memories to look back on. It gives them something to hold onto and look back on, to remember the way your family existed and the way you made them feel. Book the shoot, even if your babies aren’t babies anymore, they will always be your babies.

Seeing your family from another perspective can be such an eye opening, sweet realisation. You’re right in the middle of the chaos. The sandwich maker, the lunchbox creator, the birthday cookie decorator. You’re the one who knows the sizes and seasons and keep them updated within reason. The one who juggles the after school activities, and drinks cold cups of tea... The one who makes sure everyone is read to and everyone feels loved too.

You’re in the midst of bedtime routines, dropped naps, friendship dramas and childhood dreams. You’re making decisions big and small and kissing knees and noses after falls.

Among the mental to do list and the crazy busy days of family life, magic exists. When you get to step back and see your family from another perspective, you’ll be full of pride, admiration and gratitude for the beautiful family magic you’ve created.

Let me do that for you, you deserve it.

My cheeky wildfire Indigo Ocean. She recently turned 4! (In March) but we just did her birthday photos last week. That middle child energy.

Doing a shoot like this at home is pretty simple! A white sheet hung up on the clothesline, an outfit she chose and a cupcake to seal the deal. Full sun, some grain added. Memories captured forever.

She’s sunshine, she’s a hurricane, she is equal parts rainbow and fire, we adore you Indie.
