After a while, Archer and Harvey were begging to show off their surf skills so after a bit more splashing and a few family squeezes and cuddles, they set off to show me their skills. With Mum and Dad’s help, they each caught a couple of waves and had the BEST time doing it. Lucky me, got to stand in the shallows on this glorious day as the sun rose, casting the most incredible colours onto the beach and capture the fun that unfolded before me. Flynn, the baby of the family hung about the shore, stealing cuddles from Mum and Dad wherever he could. We ended the session with a huge salty cuddle where the waves lapped the shoreline and took a quick ‘nap’. I left the Takats to enjoy the rest of the surf and their morning as I headed back to see my own little family, baby eagerly awaiting her morning breastfeed.
