Loren and I had been planning this creative motherhood session for a while. I wanted to really show off two sides to motherhood – the powerful woman and the softer, more nurturing loving whimsical mother – both of which co-exist on a daily basis depending on the needs of our children.

We met in a field in the Caloundra area on the Sunshine Coast and were blessed with such a perfect afternoon. The sun was golden coming through the grass as we experimented with some full sun before stepping to the other side and doing some gorgeous backlit images – some of my absolute favourite photos we captured this session.

The Sunshine Coast is such a stunning location for photographs and we’re so lucky to have a range of gorgeous options to capture memories in. The photographers on the Sunshine Coast are so talented and I’d love to be renewed as one of the best but also, I want my clients to have a wonderful experience.

Loren was a dream to capture – such a natural beauty and a calm presence too. We started with her and her baby girl, Ronnie and then her gorgeous older girl, Essie decided to join in (after some big feelings about our choice of outfit – if you know you know!)
